eBay image specs: 2 sizes
eBay listing images need a longest side between 500 and 1600 px, and the main image must carry no borders or text. File-size limits vary between sources; check the limit shown in your seller dashboard.

Three ways eBay sellers get rejected
- Right size, wrong background — main images are usually pure white. A light grey or lifestyle backdrop reads as non-compliant, so exports fill #FFFFFF.
- Over the file ceiling — No file ceiling is published, so your seller dashboard decides. An image over the cap is rejected even at the correct size, so cut the bytes first.
- Stretched aspect — forcing a 3:4 source into 1:1 distorts the product. Scale proportionally, then pad or center-crop.
